I think I sympathise with some of that, Brian. If I list something for
sale, it's because I want to sell it - and listing here is a good indication
that it will be used by the buyer. And if not here, then on that auction
site, I can be reasonably sure that it will fetch a market price (and if it
doesn't, well that is probably my fault, not the market's fault).

Hello all,
Attitudes of some Yabe sellers I have corresponded with recently surprise
me. Some don't really care a lot how much $$ their item brings - just so
long as it goes where it will be used. And some don't care a lot whether or
not it sells.
For some the sales process is almost a random alternative to junking the
thing - a lens or whatever it may be.
Just goes to show the differing values people may place on the one item.
