Wow, that long ago! No wonder she snuggles into my hands so sensuously. Even
though this expenditure, plus lenses, has blown the 2005 digital budget
appropriation, I think it's going to be more fun than either an E-1 or E-300.
Could be more fun than both put together. I may even just spend next year's
funds on a more better 6x7/6x9 scanner and fend off digital until it gets good
enough to actually and honestly compete with MF. After all, most of this
year's SI Swimsuit edition photos were taken -- anyone? anyone? -- on film
with Mamiya 6x7 gear. When the subject is really, really important, this is
the way you shoot it. :-)
