Lens hood designations for all Tamron lenses are listed on their Japanese
website, lens by lens.
www.hemy.me.uk/Miscellany/TamronMFLenses.htm pipes the website through the
babelfish translator.
We (Bill and I) have previously 'discussed' the correct designation of the
23H(H) hood for the 90/2.5 Model 52B - but on this occasion, Bill is not
wholly correct for a different reason - there are TWO models of the 90?2.5,
and the later Model 52BB requires a 98FH hood, bayonet mount. Perhaps you
knew which version it was, Bill ;-)
If yours is a 52BB needing a 98FH hood, Wayne, send me a message off list
and I will have a root-around.

Ok, who knows what the part number is for the hood of the 90/2.5 Macro ?
...thanks Andy, the lens is great.
It is not in that group (if it is the lens which takes 49mm filters). That
number is 23F.
A couple of the other hard ones to find are not in there either.
The 24-48mm zoom takes the 27FH.
The 80-200mm takes the 82FH
The 180mm takes the 73FH
If anyone has an extra hood for the 300mm f2.8, I might have an interest.
It is the same hood as used on the 400mm f4. I have one which is slightly
out of round, but useable. Bill Barber
