The problem with the 'bullet' style levels is that they really only work
well if you want the camera level in all directions. If you want to
tilt the camera up or down and still have a level horizon they don't
really do the trick. For that reason I have neve been very happy with
the bullet levels or the levels built into tripods and tripod heads. I
think I am going to see if I can glue one of the dual axis Bogen levels
to my Kirk head clamp.
