This will be brief, like all OT stuff should be.
I know there are many others here who, like us, live with animals. We have
four indoor cats, two of whom are ragdolls, which means they're 15-pound cats
living inside 5 pounds of fur, which they freely and happily shed.
Anyway, to the point: Saturday, I threw the Hoover vacuum cleaner in the trash,
disgusted with poor performance and changing bags. Sunday morning, the boss
lady and I went to Target and bought a Dyson DC14 animal. Next week, the
Electrolux and the Oreck are going to Goodwill, since they still work, sort of,
and may be of benefit to somebody. I promise you, the Dyson lives up to the TV
ad hype! Compared to the others, it's like an Aston-Martin Vanquish compared
to a Ford Escort. As Willie Nelson said, in a different context, this thing
"could suck the crome off a trailer hitch."
If you live with critters, I highly recommend that you get one. I wish we had
done so before. This thing is amazing! It actually makes vacuumming fun, and
tonight, just maybe, I can have something to eat without finding a car hair in
it!
