Be careful if you remove the shutter speed ring on later model OM-1's and all
OM-1n's. There's a little gear at the top which is tensioned by the meter
movement. It's very easy to have that gear slip and lose the tension. It's
not a disaster if that happens, but you will have to re-calibrate the meter.
That may not have been something you planned on doing if all you wanted to do
was libricate the shutter speed ring.
