While I was working in Japan doing research a collegue of mine was looking
at putting inteligent agent technology into microwaves. Basically the
proposal was that the microwave would contain a computer which would
connect to the internet to download cooking data, recipies etc as well as
monitoring the cooking process. It would communicate with other microwaves
to find out what they cook and how their owner likes the food cooked
etc...
