Well well, that *is* interesting. Here are the answers to your questions,
Steve:
How does this work? Like a shift lens on a camera but without the optics.
And what else do you need to make it workable? The optics - which, it seems,
the same seller already has listed!
What you didn't ask is "What is it?"
It's a parallax-correcting lens mount for a 50mm focal length projection
lens on a Carousel 35mm slide projector, used when you have a multiple
projector set-up to correct for the projection-equivalent of the convergng
verticlas effect seen in camera when taking photos of tall buildings.
And maybe the instruction sheet to make it crystal clear:

Hi, Y'all-
This item is labeled a "GOLDEN NAVITAR 50mm to 35mm Slide Projector Lens
Mount"
<http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3870452669>
How does this work?
And what else do you need to make it workable?
If I did get one, and contrived to make it work, it would of course be used
to project slides taken with an OM camera...
Thanks, Steve Goss, Dallas Tx usa
