Well if you are going to "blame" me for enabling your bargain purchase of an
OM-3 for $10....
You got the apostrophe right, but the spelling wrong, which is correctly
illustrated in the following imaginary posting from Walt or Chris, both of
whom know that an OM-3 worth having costs at least $15.
"Piers' name already ends in the letter 's', so it is unnecessary to add a
further 's' after the apostrophe."
I suspect that the exception to that rule applies when referring to a
plurality of people purporting to be Piers - but I have never found myslef
in such company, so will defer to others. Walt? Chris?

PS Should we add grammar and syntax to the SUV list? Or just Annoyingly
Arbitrary Alliteration?

Hi Richard:
It is all Piers's fault really. (damn I hope I got the apostrophe right,
I've noticed how close apostrophe and catastrophe have become on the list)
