This is also the case with the 1.4 and the 85-250 zoom which also works
fine.This is a combination that I used for quite an while before I
replaced the 85-250 with the Tokina 80-200 f2.8. The 1.4X-A does not fit
onto the 80-200 tokina BTW. :(
