I have only seen one of these elusive caps for the hot shoe hole. It was attached to a body that I have in my parts collection. It has some of the white discoloration that is typical of some of the plastics that Oly used. It is rather un-impressive though, others have compared it to the cap out of the end of a BIC biro which is about right. As fair as I know it is no longer available. Dan S. There is a small "plug" which screws into the hot shoe attachment point & covers the holes. One was included with my OM1n when I bought it new in 1979. But - don't recall seeing another one - no idea if it's possible to get them these days. A related question - saw an OM1n up for auction today which claimed to have the original sync socket cover - I had no idea there ever was a sync socket cover - certainly didn't get one with the new camera mentioned above :-( Did I get swindled out of one all those years ago?
