Only if they're in parallel. In the camera, they're in series to give a
nominal 3V and a current-time capacity of 150mAh, so the combination has an
energy capacity of 450mWh. (If they were in parallel, we'd have 1.5V at
300mAh, still giving 450mWh as you say, but the camera wouldn't work!).
In other words as an example, if the camera draws 15mA continuously it would
last for 10 hours.
