Sounds like a challenge Piers! ;-)  Find the ftp client in OSX.  It has 
a built-in Apache server so I cannot imagine it's not there somewhere.

To be frank, I mentioned in the hope that someone would save me the 
hassle, but I can never resist a challenge...
