There are several problems here. First, AFAIK, Olympus does not have
replacement circuit boards for sale anymore. When they did, the parts alone
would cost the end user approx. $250, then add 2-3 hours labor to do the
work. The only time I ever did them was when I could take the bodies to
Olympus, they'd do the work (and wouldn't charge me for the parts). You
are better off finding a plain 4 which passes the
30-second-battery-test-LED-turnoff test or invest in a clean 4T / Ti. AND,
plain 4s upgraded with the 4T circuit usually do NOT do super FP flash.
