The big wheel gives it away if nothing else does. Fortran was released in
1954 which is probably why they chose that date. As I recall, TV screens
didn't look like that in 1954 either. The other day I ran across a picture
of a pretty young lady stuffing cords in a computer patch panel in about
1960. I thought she looked familiar and discovered she is a friend of mine
who is now a very wrinkled little old lady. /jmac
