[OM] Off the wall guestion about close up lenses

Does anyone have any experience with either the Can#n or Nik#n close up  
lenses or have any idea why the Nik#n one are so much less expensive than those 
 
made by Can#n. Specifically, I was thinking of getting some for use with my  
digital Zuiko lenses.  Thanks, Bill Barber
