Local for me. It's about a five minute drive from my work. He's done good
work for me thus far (he worked over one of the 40/2's I acquired, as it had
a stiff to almost non-functioning aperture ring when I got it. Good as new
when I got it back).
Not ultra-quick, lens work can take two weeks.

Do tell! I've just sent my 24 Shift off to John and will probably continue
to work with him as he's done well by me, but it's nice to know in case of a
lens "emergency."
