I think EVFs are truly ghastly. Looking through one tends to remove me
even further from the process of taking a photograph. I was on the
brink of buying an S7000 last year (F*ji), but the viewfinder turned me
right off. I was even considering a C-8080 last week but for the
viewfinder. I even prefer the rather crappy little optical viewfinder
of the Powershot; if I want to look at a screen I'll use the outside
one ...
