I'm really intruiged by the hybrid approach to B&W printing. A
fellow list-member let me know about it and I've been getting my
ducks in a row to try it.
Essentially, you digitally output using a color inkjet printer
onto transparency material and then do a contact print in the
darkroom. The photographic paper is then processed in the normal
fashion. It's one of those "best of both worlds" kind of
things.
This really comes to light (parden the pun), as I've found a new
glossy fiber paper that I really like.
