Hi Wayne,
I think that B&W yields a far better image when so much of the busy
background is out of focus. A satisfactory bokeh in colour can not be
obtained from busy, fractured, backgrounds, in my opinion.
Great shots; I am not good at people photography and generally avoid it like
the plague. I don't even like doing it.
I'm very impressed with your use of selective DOF, and getting a sharp,
smooth image of the faces. Having the faces out of harsh bright light has
helped enormously too.
