The advice to buy and cut a generic rubber hood is sound. I've used them a
few times. B&H Photo carries many generic hoods. Just place the hood on the
lens
you want to use it with, and look through the viewfinder at a light colored
scene and slowly pull back (depress) the hood from the front until it's no
longer visible in the viewfinder. Keep doing this and keep checking to see how
much you have to push it back, then cut that much off the hood. Follow a
carpenter's advice- "Measure twice, cut once." and you should be fine.
