I don't know the circumstances under which Tamron acquired Bronica, but
you see it elsewhere where a corporation acquires another one so that
they can enhance their profitability and then dump it when it fails to
save them. Frequently I think the acquired company would have done just
fine on its own. And killing Bronica may not save Tamron. You even see
companies like Microsoft and Symantec just acquire companies to kill
their competitor's superior software in the market place. Sad fact of
the way the world does business now.
