Open up a window at least five minutes before the auction ends. REFRESH the
window every minute. If you open multiple windows the last one refreshed
will probably connect quickest. Place bid to hit 7 seconds before end. It's
been more reliable than esnipe for me. Probably not as reliable with a dial
up connection though (using cable at home).
If you refresh the window several times you can get your timing down to
within a second but more important it keeps the various routers from
forgetting where to get the connection. Now if that seller would just quit
canceling his auction 30 seconds before it ends ... But I've got all I need
and it's been a long time since I got anything ... oops gotta go check
something.
