Great rendition, Schnozz. Actually I think Ansel was excited about digital
possibilities. Wonder what he would have to say about the state of the
business end of things right now.
As for me, I think I see the handwriting on the wall. First Agfa, now this.
B&W film/paper will likely survive as a niche product, but I wonder at what
price? A good friend of mine (also an Zuikoholic, but not on this list),
states that for good B&W printing of digital images, dye transfer is probably
where I would end up.
Anyone have thoughts/experiences on/with non-inkjet printer technologies? I
wonder if you can get canned air that smells like a darkroom...
