Congratulations to you both. Sounds like a most worthwhile project. Little
babies cope well with car camping but the cross-country ski trips may be
more of a problem. When little ones become ambulatory camping is still fun
but the little rascals can get into trouble so fast when they run off. They
need constant observation. The three-wheeled strollers with the large wheels
are great for reasonable terrain. I see a lot of young mothers jogging past
my house with those and they would certainly hold some OM gear. There are
also some really nice child carriers that tow behind a bicycle. Your
life-style will certainly be changed but I have a feeling that you will
enjoy the whole experience. /jmac

Subject: [OM] Re: Bird-scoping!
James,
Anna and I has a new project (release date set to mid jan 2005) that
have changed some priorities. Instead of a 350/2.8 with the usual
teleconverters and extras we are more in to cool three wheeled riders.
Any tips on a all-terrain-OM-and-baby-carrier instead?
B & L spotting scopes seems fairly priced, looking at a Elite (45°
angle) at the moment.
