Voluntary Simplicity in photography.

HCB practiced it. An M3, a 50 Summicron, and whatever light was
available. He did use a 35 or a 90 on occasion. He didn't much care about
the technical aspects of photography, and thus often drove his printer
crazy. Composition was where he was at.

Jane Bown of the UK's Observer is another practitioner. An OM-1, a 50/1.8,
a couple of rolls Tri-X, and a 150-watt light bulb in her purse in case the
lamps on location are a little dim! Her book "Faces" is worth looking at.
