You'll probably get as many opinions as replies, as no two people see quite
the same or shoot the same. Personally I'd leave the heaviest stuff at home,
the 90/2.5, 200/4, and 2xmacro. I'd also leave an OM1n at home and take a
more pocketable camera for a second camera, such as an XA or 35RC. But then,
I tend not to shoot much telephoto stuff on a trip. For macro I'd take an
f=40cm or similar as, for me, it would fit almost any macro shot when
travelling. I don't usually look at things as small as 1:1 when travelling.
On my last trip by plane I took an OM2s, Epic 2.8, 35RC, and could have
gotten by fine with the 35/2.8 and 50/1.8. I probably only used the f=40cm
for less than 5 shots, and not a lot more with each of the 28/2 or 100/2.8
or Vivitar 17/3.5. I did use a t20 a lot, and a s20 with the RC.
Now if travelling by car, well, that's different. My wife complained last
week there was not room for her suitcase if I took 6 cameras. But there
really was. Besides, she was exaggerating, as I had only 5 cameras. And some
lenses and stuff.
