Thanks Siddiq. I've got to try some different films, but I don't take enough
shots lately so I want to use Kodachrome! And I want them to last.
I just have trouble letting go.
Thanks ofr the advise. I'll give them a try.
I was in Sydney on Monday and went around the photo shops trying to buy
Kodachrome. All the sales assistants (all young, makes me feel old now)
looked at me like I was speaking Swahili when I asked for Kodachrome. They
had no idea. What a loss.

Foxy, have you tried Fuji's Sensia (consumer) or Astia and Provia? No
experience with Astia myself, but Sensia is fairly neutral, if a tad on
the cool side (and definitely missing the Kchrome "look"). Provia100 I've
found to go purple in shadows, again a bit coolish. Maybe a skylight
filter would warm it up a notch. But very neutral, nowhere near the
saturation and intensity of Velvia (quite a jump, Kchrome to Velvia, eh?),
which I've also shot (50ISO version anyway).
