Frayed/broken wires are usually the result of improper positioning during assembly, and/or incredibly frequent use. The only sure way to avoid it is to never use the camera -- it will look very pretty sitting on a shelf, and if you never use it you'll never know it's broken! > > frayed meter wire, > This was what happened to mine.
