Yep, I think this is the way I'm going too. A hard break to make in
terms of brand loyalty, going back to my first OM-1 in 1976 and an
"all Olympus" household (excepting my Bronica) ever since.
But Olympus evidently has no loyalty to its customers (in the UK at
least).
It's a far cry from the days when one could call in to Honduras Street
and have an intelligent conversation with a knowledgeable and helpful
person about the OM system: I even got a quick repair done on the spot
on one occasion.
