OK Tom, maybe I exaggerated little, my wife says I do. But let's do the
math. About two or three years ago I replaced the original battery from
my first OM1 purchased in 1976. Say it lasted 25 years. The replacement
battery set me back $8 and will probably be the last one that camera
will need . In 2025 or even 2015 I suspect finding another mercury
battery won't be high on my priority list. Total savings, 30 - 8 = $22
