Michael lamented:
Now I have an OM-20 / OM-G with a problem....
There is a loose bit inside the Finder, just above the screen. Looks
like a thin metal or plastic strip, about 2/3 inch long by about
1/16th or less of an inch wide....
... is there an easy way to actually remove the screen to
at least get the object out,
An image of what is seen through the viewfinder window is at

I thought so -- there is (was?) a strip of plastic glued to the end of
the led array that sticks into the finder to show the approximate
shutter speed on the OM-G/20, but not on the OM-10. It sometimes falls
off. Pitch it -- it doesn't really do anything necessary.

Remove little plastic trim plate inside mirror box, at the top, you'll
have to glue it back on. remove small screw, remove tiny metal clip
(without tearing mirror foam, if there is any). Remove screen, clean,
reinstall, dull side up.
