The first thing I thought was exposure difference, due to the overall light
having possibly changed between shots, but that does not seem to be the case.
I'm judging that conclusion on the apparent equality of the shadows against the
buildings where they're visible against. It may be an exposure difference in
what the two cameras chose. The entire 50/1.4 image is brighter and whiter (on
my monitor) and, as such, better, IMO. A lot of things in that frame are
clearer to my eyes.
