Maybe the Minolta is not the only one.
My submission to this TOPE (still not uploaded) was scanned w/Nikon CoolScan
4000 and looks muddled compared to the slide, I'd say less 'luminous' reds
and yellows, and green leaves show a little blue when blowing up 300% the
4000 dpi original PS file. The .jpg submission looks as mudded. Again, no PS
curves or whatever were adjusted. I observed this both on my inexpensive
Apple 15AV and on a eMac CRT monitor, carefully adjusted. I didn't feel
encouraged to print it.
Comments will be welcomed from those who have better monitors, though you
won't have the original to compare to. My 2 cents.
