Well written and articulated, Wayne. I didn't know you got an E-1.
Congrats and I am sure you will enjoy it and digital photography.
I think the points you raise are well-thought out and well presented
and great food for thought.
Just a technical comment if I may. Have you actually obtained 12
frames in 4 secs? if you can get an E-1 to take 12 shots in 4
seconds, I would sure like to know how. As I have said before, the
big issue for me with the E-1 is write times to the card.
I hear the E-1 from our local Oly rep is available again, so I am
going to try to get my hands on it for some more work.
Oh, and I read in another source that Oly will have a replacement for
the E-1 out sometime later this years. Where I read that is what i
need to remember...I think it was DP Review, but it might have been
somewhere else. If I find it, I will post a note.
