Just made a test shot for both camera:
10D with Zuiko 35-70/3.6 at 35mm F8, ISO100 ~2.7MB.

E1 14-54 at focal length simulate the hight of the above picture, F8 ISO100

Both are shot at softest setting, auto white balance and JPEG mode, do the
level and sharpening yourself, I found a radius of 0.7 and amount of 200%
work quite well for the E1 shot and the 10D require a smaller radius
otherwise halo formed at the edges. Generally the E-1 receive sharpen very
well and easier than the 10D.
Will give more comments on the E-1 later when I have more experience with
it.
