See that is the whole issue...I bought a 2S off Eb*Y but turns out the meter
was defective. I sent it out for a CLA but because its "electronic"...god
only knows if it can be repaired. Otherwise the body is beautiful. So how do
you know until you actually get a body in your hands? You are at the mercy
of the seller and I cannot dump too much money into this..as much I would
love to!! 8-)This is my dilemma. I think for now I am going to stick with my
OM-1n and 2n.

Perhaps a 2S(P) is worth a try. They are cheaper to buy and easier to ID by
LED in viewfinder as to which version you are buying (check Lee Hawkins FAQ
for more on this).

I am interested in the spot metering...but dont really care about the top
