One of the April 2004 UK Photo Mags had a quick review about a product
called "Opti-Clean". It is described as a liquid almost like nail polish
that is applied to the lens, allowed to dry, and pealed off, leaving the
lens clean. Has anyone used it? I haven't seen it here in the States (but
I haven't looked to hard either).
And BTW, the value of the dollar vs. the pound is killing me on these
magazines - since I don't particularly care for the US photo mags....

I keep those micro-fiber cleaning cloths around. Personally, I think
they do a hell of a job dry most of the time (on simple hazing), though
I sometimes use some lens cleaning solution to get to the nasty stuff.
