Greetings all. I was a subscriber a while ago but dropped off unexpectedly
some time ago.
First, my specific apologies to Thomas Clausen (I hope he is still here),
who when I was last part of this mailing list provided me with invaluable
advice and an offer to meet in Paris during my visit in...October 2002. Two
years later and I feel I owe an apology as I had to cut my trip short and
did not contact you as promised during my visit. I had a great time and did
get some decent shots (which I never scanned). I owe you for your pointers
- which I actually passed on to my brother later on.
After much deliberation (and ignoring of negative reviews) I went digital
and bought my E-1 last week. Then Oly decides to cut prices. Having saved
my pennies I went big - body, 14-54mm. 50-200mm, and the FP-50 flash to
boot. Then they decide to discount / rebate on May 1st. I sent a letter
but don't expect I'll be eligible since I bought on Apr. 29th.
I've posted some recent shots with the E-1, but they are not edited and are
therefore quite large (only recommended for DSL/Cable people);

Basically, I just wanted to say that I am back and still a Zuikoholic. I
hope I am welcome back.
