From: olympus-owner@xxxxxxxxxx [mailto:olympus-owner@xxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Alex Drotschmann What are your preferred materials and why: A. color negative film Currently I have a thing for Fuji NPS shot as rated at 160. At I think Piers suggestion I have been trying out Fuji press 400 and 800. Just did a roll of 800 pushed one stop for a stage show. It came out pretty well without correction when shooting. I also used it for my Doggie shoot a couple of months back (still waiting for the owner to get me some prints back as he wanted to do the developing himself). B. Color Slide film I don't currently shoot slide except for special stuff. Last roll I shot was Kodak 160T for another wacky project. C. Black and White negative film XP2+ is still my favourite for easy developing in stores. I wish I had the space for a dark room... Maybe when I get a film scanner I will get into at least developing my own negs. Other choice would be PanF if I am in the mood, got some great stuff with it on MF in Edinburgh a year ago with my Mamiya C330 (just how many of us use this system too?).
