Yes, that makes sense. Most M42 lenses have an M-A stop-down switch so
it wouldn't be necessary. Shame that they didn't build it into the
adaptor but an M42 Adaptall should be so cheap that you could afford to
jam the pin down in the closed position. Another job for Aradite?
