all frames you shoot are totally blank?
IIRC the highest shutter speed for flash on the OM10 is 1/45 second,
not 1/60th. If the shutter is firing at 1/60th that would account
nicely for the "quarter black frame"!
AFAIK it should set automatically when it detects the flashgun, but
I'm not sure what happens if you select manual with a manual adaptor.
