One of the DSLR design issues is the need for a lot of real estate to locate
all of those controls and screens. Even so, they don't seem to do very well in
laying the features out. My nose, which is well-adapted for producing negative
scratch-reducing oil, winds up pressed tightly against the LED screen on a
C*n*n 10D when I put my eye to the viewfinder. The C*n*n pro rep took umbrage
when I told him that was a stupid design.

batteries. I doubt whether C and N actually waste much space inside those big
bodies. If you look at the E-1, it's just about the same size as a 10D or D100,
and much larger with the booster pack.
