Shutter lag is very quick, no different than an SLR. With the 12-shot buffer,
you won't have many situations where the camera doesn't respond. The only
thing that can catch me is that in Continuous Focus mode I have the camera set
to "Release Priority OFF", which means that the camera will only take a picture
when it has achieved focus lock.
The finder is nice and the image snaps into focus nicely. As you'd expect with
an AF camera, there are no in-finder focus aids like microprisms or
split-images.
