"Carpe Diem", a good motto for you I think Graham :-). I have found
Fotheringhay on the aeronautical map (1:250,000 as we travel at a
measly 2 miles per minute :-(), but it is too close to RAF Wittering
and Peterborough Sibson airfields for me to wander over taking photos.
I shall find something else in the area that is photogenic ...
... thinking of photogenic buildings, I flew over Chatsworth House this
afternoon for the first time in about 20 years. It is the most
gorgeous place, but I did not take a photo as I am at a loss to find a
way to put my OM2 and 35-105 into a case to protect the ensemble in the
aircraft. - it would not be strapped down and I may not modify the
aircraft.
