I agree Gord, but I had no intention of assaulting anyone.
My original offer (complicated I admit by my ill-judged use of the
Mario Puzo "Godfather" threat) was for Ian M to provide his tardy
vendor with the _implied_ threat of a visit from a friend to motivate
him into getting on with sending the lens. I then digressed into the
idea of of a group of us visiting with the "offer that he could not
refuse". I did not intend to confuse anyone across the Pond into
thinking that this meant a posse armed with bags of any sort (I
resemble the image being connected with me anyway......... <grin
through gritted teeth>).
If Ian wants to use my presence closer to his putative vendor than Oz
then that is fine by me; if he wants me to visit to collect the item
and send it myself, fine; but at no stage would I have envisaged a
visit with a view to physical persuasion. Persuasion still works in
this country, for the most part ;-).
