Well I use a mix of that, when unsure I get my incident meter and
realice that Sunny-16 rules in sunshine. When using my 4 I use the
highlight button, or when wearing my perfect black gloves I sometimes
use the shadow-button. This usually yields the same result. But often I
reach for my incident meter, and tries to be clever. Actually I think
this is the hardest thing in exposure control, shooting more or less
white on white. For instance following a animal track in the snow and
trying to make a good a photo is darn hard...
