I understand why this would be an issue for those who shoot slides and
use them directly. I shoot color negative film almost exclusively and
have done so for several years. Recently, I and have only used my old
slides via scanning, so the color balance of the lens is not an issue
for me. Of course, slide films differ quite a bit in color tone too, so
I assume one would only notice the difference when switching between
lenses from different manufactures while using the same film?
