I sure hope someone is recording the results...
My top three:
28/2 - It's a great, sharp lens that has never let me down. A killer at f2.8,
and not bad wide open. f4-f8 are, of course gorgeous, but one spends $ on
glass for the wider apertures.
35/24 shift - its a toss-up here as I think the 24 is a better lens, but I
don't always enjoy the weight. The 35 is small and convenient and just wide
enough. The 35 pairs perfectly with the 85/2 as a truly minimal walkaround
kit.
50/3.5 - the size and weight make it a sure fire winner. with a 2 series
screen one doesn't need anything brighter. usable apertures are f5.6-f11, but
that is usually how it works out anyway?
the three that didn't make it to the list, but deserve honorable mention:
18/3.5 for sharp, straight lines and good AoV
85/2 small, light and quite nice at f4. buttery smooth bokeh.
50/1.2 a bit heavy, and not usable wide open, but f2 and f2.8 really make it
worth it over the 50/1.4 or 50/1.8
As for other manufacturers, I hapilly left Nikon for the Oly shift lenses. I
haven't used many others, but am quite tempted by a L*ica M w/ 50 'cron....
And I have to put in a good word for the Tam 80-200/2.8. Heavy for sure, but
can deliver the results.
That said, I usually have in a Domke F-803 the 18/3.5, 24 shift, 50/3.5 and Tam
80-200. Makes for a heavy bag, but has a good range. However, most days are
spent with the 35 shift and 85/2.
