I didn't shoot the basketball with the E-1, as I didn't have it when the games
were running. Actually, I really needed a faster lens, in my opinion, and I
don't have the cash for the 50/2 right now. What I really would need would be
a 100/2, which would be equiv. to a 200/2 for 35mm. The new 150/2 (at ~$3k) is
far too expensive for me. I don't think we'll see the "Fast Macro Telephoto"
until 2005, which is what's on Olympus' timeline. My guess would be a 90/2 or
100/2.
